A little rain (not the usual Thurs micro burst) keeps the dust down.

Well how about that; as of Friday 3/14:

Wed: 83/60 10%
Thur: 84/61  50%  pm showers
Fri: 85/60   10%
Sat: 87/62  10%
You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background... I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.--some FerrariChat.com douchebag

Even if it does rain on Thursday, the cars are gonna be in a world of hurt with it hitting almost 90 on race day.  All those laps under caution--that's going to cause some major damage and overheating. The drivers are gonna be miserable, too.  I'm not complaining--I like it hot--but wow, this one is going to scorch.

I told my sister I was going to 12 Hours of Sebring next week.
Her reply "Good we need the rain".

Didn't that usually work for Gatornationals?  Not this weekend.

It's going to be a scorcher!  No need for sunscreen because we'll all be caked with dust after a couple of hours.

50% chance of showers Sunday.
